How to install T116BUBUUBU0AOJ1 Android 4.4.4 KitKat firmware on SM-T116BU:
There are several ways by which one can upgrade their firmware such as OTA - Over the Air (required stable internet connection, directly from your device), using Samsung Kies software (also required stable internet connection, using computer) and manual installation using Odin utility which we are going to discuss here. For manual installation, you need to download the firmware and Odin software manually. We will show computer Odin to flash the firmware.

4) Check whether the USB Debugging mode is turned on, go to Settings-General-Developer
Options (As the Developer options are hidden by default on all Android
device running on Android 4.2 or up, So go to Settings-General-About on

3) Completely switch off your device and press and hold the Volume Down+Power buttons together to boot in to Download Mode (long press until the boot screen appear) and after that press Volume Up key to proceed to Download Mode.
4) Now run the Odin3 .exe file as
an administrator (Right click on the .exe file and click on Run as
administrator)
5) Now connect your Galaxy Tab 3 Lite T116BU to your computer via USB cable
6) In Odin3 screen, you should see a COM Port number like “0:[COM4]” at ID:COM
section at top left side and “Added!” text at the message box. This means your device has been
detected by Odin3.
7) In Odin screen, under Options tab, make sure that, only the “Auto Reboot” and “F. Reset Time” options are checked, no other option should checked.
8) Now, click on AP button and select the firmware file with .tar.md5 extension (The firmware file look something like: T116BUXXEMH4_T116BUODDEMK1_T116BUDDEMG2_HOME.tar.md5)
9) Finally, click on the Start button to begin the installation process, wait few moments, it may take approximately 4 to 10 minutes to complete.
10) Once completed, you would see “PASS!” message in ID:COM port having green background
11) Your device should automatically reboot after completion
12) You can now disconnect your device from computer by removing the USB cable
13) You are done, check your Settings-About Phone to see the details of the latest updated firmware.
Troubleshooting! Fix Bootloop on Galaxy Tab 3 Lite SM-T116BU
It may happens that, your device may stuck at booting screen. If your Galaxy Tab 3 Lite SM-T116BU fail to start or restart frequently or stuck at boot animation screen for more than 10 minutes, then follow these instructions:- Remove the battery and place it again. Go to Recovery Mode by pressing and holding the Volume Up+Power buttons together (long press until something appears on the screen).
- Now, perform Wipe Data/Factory Reset and Wipe Cache Partition task before selecting the reboot system now option. In Recovery Mode use the Volume keys to navigate between options and Power key to select any option.
